As states implement new initiatives intended to improve outcomes for all students including new college and career ready standards, new aligned assessments, new educator evaluation systems and renewed efforts to turn around struggling schools, the role of the principal as instructional leader is more critical than ever. This regional meeting, the ninth in a series on educator effectiveness, focuses on the need to build the capacity of principals to meet expectations as instructional leaders and change agents.
